Lauren Ma, Center Director
Lauren has been with Stowell Learning Center for over 20 years. She began her career as an elementary school teacher but left after seeing too many bright students struggling in silence. She could not ignore the pain of watching children cry over homework or lose confidence because their efforts never seemed to be enough.
At Stowell, Lauren found a way to help students and parents break free from those nightly battles. She is trained in Collaborative Problem Solving, The Listening Program, Revolutionary Resilience and Self-Regulation, and Trauma-Informed Care. As a mom of two creative, sensitive daughters, she knows how hard it is to watch your child feel “less than” at school. Her mission is simple: to help every family walk out of SLC with both new skills and new hope.
